Ceramic Diamond Grinding Wheel with High Grinding Efficiency High Wear Resistance and Low Grinding Temperature

Ceramic diamond grinding wheels are precision grinding tools manufactured by bonding diamond abrasive grains with a ceramic binder through pressing, drying, and firing processes. These wheels offer exceptional strength, superior heat resistance, and high grinding efficiency. Available in standard and super-hard variants, they feature optimized binder formulations and pore structures that significantly enhance performance while addressing common issues found in resin wheels such as short lifespan, low grinding efficiency, and deformation susceptibility.

The Li-Al-B-Si-O based low-temperature binder delivers optimal performance when its content is maintained between 22% and 26%. Low-concentration wheels are specifically designed for surface machining applications, while high-concentration wheels excel in external cylindrical machining operations.

These grinding wheels are primarily used for processing hard and brittle materials including semiconductor silicon wafers, solar silicon wafers, diamond tools, cemented carbides, cubic boron nitride, advanced engineering structural ceramics, gemstones, crystals, and rare earth magnetic materials. They effectively resolve surface scratches and processing challenges in applications such as lithium tantalate wafer thinning and PCD tool grinding, delivering significant economic benefits.

European and American developed countries implemented this technology for precise machining of cemented carbide hobs more than a decade earlier than China. The standardized domestic 6A2 model products have been progressively adopted since 2008.
