The Silicon Carbide (SiC) Setter Plate is a high-performance refractory tray engineered for high-temperature sintering and heat-treatment applications. Renowned for its ultra-high thermal conductivity, outstanding mechanical strength at elevated temperatures, and superior thermal shock resistance, SiC setter plates enable rapid heating and cooling cycles while maintaining dimensional flatness and preventing workpiece warping or deformation.
High Thermal Conductivity: Facilitates rapid and uniform heat distribution across the plate, significantly reducing kiln energy consumption and shortening cycle times.
Extreme Thermal Shock Resistance: Capable of withstanding aggressive thermal cycling and rapid cooling without cracking or fatigue.
High Load-Bearing Strength & Low Creep: Retains excellent mechanical bending strength under heavy loads at elevated temperatures up to 1650°C.
Chemical & Corrosion Resistance: Resists oxidation, acid, alkali, and chemical slag erosion in oxidizing, reducing, or vacuum atmospheres.
Optional Protective Coatings: Can be coated with high-purity Alumina ($Al_2O_3$), Zirconia ($ZrO_2$), or Yttria ($Y_2O_3$) to prevent chemical reaction/sticking with sensitive workpieces.
